The Park Café

The Park Café is part of the Park Community Centre, a charity based in Knowle West providing vocational education, support for long-term unemployed, sport and leisure facilities, health and wellbeing support, social space for the community, opportunities for local people to start new businesses, activities and events for the elderly and others suffering from social isolation. The Park is undergoing a major £8.2m redevelopment project to replace the existing 1970’s school buildings in which it is currently housed. The redevelopment will provide new sustainable buildings for the future and enable the Park to carry on providing services and facilities vital to a community which includes the top 1% most disadvantaged in the UK. We are applying to LCF for funds to support the fit out of the new café.
