The Pines Woodland, Hertford

The aims of this project are to a create safe woodland space which is accessible to all. This space will provide users with a safe, clean, exciting environment to take part in day to day leisure activities such as dog walking, jogging or taking a stroll. It will also provide younger users with an exciting new play space ideal for den building, nature exploration and all kinds of outdoor play. The individual work aims will include: Creation of main surfaced path Creation of woodchip path for secondary path Clearance of areas of vegetation to improve natural surveillance and limited tree works Reconstruction of steps and creation of viewing area Installation of fencing Creation of inviting entrance with signage Involvement of local community in volunteering tasks
