The purchase and improvement of grazing marsh at Blue House Farm

Essex Wildlife Trust has the opportunity to purchase 18.12ha of coastal grazing marsh adjacent to our Blue House Farm nature reserve. Once purchased the Trust has ambitious plans to improve the habitat so that many species will thrive. This project will deliver improved and new priority BAP habitats such as coastal grazing marsh and reed bed.

The initial aim is to purchase the land and then improve the currently degraded habitat.
