The Recreation Ground, Stockbridge – Community Pavilion (1890/D)

The Project is for a new pavilion building on the site of the recreation ground to provide toilets, disabled toilets and changing rooms for use by the whole local community. There is currently an old pre-fab concrete garage type building on site which is currently used just for football changing rooms. This has been on site since the 1970s when the recreation ground was first established and is no longer fit for purpose and is not likely to be used by any other group due to its dilapidated state. The project will include the construciton of the new pavilion and disabled toilets. The Trust grant is a contribution towards the new pavilion.
