A) To restore and enhance important open mosaic slag grassland habitat on Tees Valley brownfield sites in order to conserve vulnerable invertebrate populations.
B) To develop practical habitat management principles for characteristic and vulnerable brownfield specialist invertebrates of slag grassland that can be applied to sites in the Tees Valley.
