Summary of Aims The aims for the newly restored Theatre are; • To extend the reach and diversity of engaged communities • To encourage learning about Darlington’s heritage • To become a learning organisation • To become a good partner, working in collaboration with voluntary, educational, public and commercial bodies • To be more sustainable – financially, physically and environmentally • To offer a high quality customer experience • To contribute to the economic regeneration of Darlington and the Tees Valley This specific project will exclusively address our community engagement strategy enabling un-restricted access to the local community broadening their opportunity to engage in the arts and local heritage.
