The Rhizotron

The Rhizotron is a permanent installation that will allow visitors to experience trees from their roots to their canopies. The Rhizotron will be an underground educational viewing chamber. It will link to the Treetop Walkway - a 200m canopy walkway. All visitors to the Treetop Walkway will enter through the Rhizotron. The Rhizotron operates as a series of snaking ramps and landings and will be wheelchair and pushchair exhibitions which will include forms of media and animatronics.
