The River Glaven Restoration Phase 1

To narrow the river channel in order to increase water flow which will help the river to become self cleansing once again as it has become narrowed over the years as a result of over zealous maintenance. The work will be done in consultation with The Environment Agency and will assist in the encouragement of brown trout and native crayfish back to the river.
