The Shenley Village Cricket Club – New Nets

This project is to re-build and re-orientate 4 cricket nets to provide safer cricket practice for 120 junior and 60 senior members plus for use by local schools where we currently coach cricket in term time and summer holidays.
Two of the existing nets are so unsafe they have not been used for the past 3 years and all 4 have grass areas that bring mud onto the all weather surface and make practice unsafe.
The new nets will face away from the playing area as the 2 areas cannot currently be used at the same time due to safety concerns.
Top rate facilities are needed to attract players and to keep them safe. We have a professional coach and need the facilities to match.
