The Somerville, New Cross - Pond installation and play area improvements (007029)

Somerville Youth & Play Provision is a vibrant community hub used by the whole community especially children and young people (5-18 years) living in deprived urban areas in London's New Cross area. This highly popular space provides free activities to help steer disadvantaged young people away from anti-social behaviour, and crime, offering them opportunities to develop their skills, build their confidence and raise aspirations. The project is for the essential maintenance and enhancement of play equipment, installation of a pond and purchase of sleepers for planting.
