The Spire Arts Centre

The project will acquire and redevelop a former town hall, town house and corn market in Newburgh Fife. The grade B listed georgian building, which has lain predominantly empty for years, will be redeveloped into an arts complex incorporating, low-cost studios for 8-10 visual artists, craftspeople and designers, an events/project space for the local community, residential accommodation and workspace for visiting artists. The project is being led by a partnership of national charities, the Wasps Trust, sister charity wasps artists studios and local charity fife arts co-operative.
