The Sturts – Grazing

Sturts is grazed annually by cattle, which are essential to the management of the site.
Extensive grazing by cattle on the pasture and aftermath grazing on the hay creates a
diverse sward and removes nutrient, prevents thatch and maintains a good diversity of
wildflowers.
