The Sturts – Managing rare, floodplain species rich grassland and traditional orchards by controlling thistle, bramble and blackthorn

The focus of the work at Sturts this year will be removing invasive thistle, managing bramble and controlling the extent of blackthorn which tends to encroach onto higher value species rich pasture, meadows and traditional orchards.
