The Swillet Recreation Ground, Hertfordshire – Park Cycle Path Creation (007390)

Designed through local consultation, the project proposes to install a circular cycle path around the perimeter of the Swillet Recreation Ground, providing a safe, accessible year-round space. The new cycle path will remove barriers to cycling and scooting by creating an environment where family and children can ride their bikes locally, thereby helping to encourage physical activity and sustainable travel. The proposed cycle path will also provide a safe space for all residents, dog walkers and people with mobility issues and parents with pushchairs to travel between two neighbouring roads without having to walk down country lanes with no footpaths.
