The Tank Museum – Vehicle Conservation Centre

The main output from the project is to fit out a heating system in the newly constructed Vehicle Conservation Centre at the Tank Museum. The Vehicle Conservation Centre is the centrepiece of the conservation strategy of the The Tank Museum, enabling the museum to move vehicles from unsightly or inappropriate outside storage into good, heated conditions. The heating system is the key to the whole project, as it is designed to heat the tanks, using them as heatsinks, reducing the temperature gradient and reducing the risk of condensation.
