The Thomas Cranmer Centre

Aslockton Church Hall was built in 1914 and served the village well for many years. Although owned by the church, the villagers regarded it as the village hall and it was well – used despite its poor condition and lack of modern amenities.

The aim of the project is to replace the old church hall with a sustainable community facility:
To accommodate existing local community groups in pleasant, suitable surroundings that fulfil disabled access requirements.
To enable the development of new activities and services identified by the community through the Village Appraisal / Parish Plan process.
