The Tute Accessibility Overhaul

The project involves replacing the current defunct wall mounted heaters that no longer function and replacement bulbs no longer exist. Renewing the electrics to ensure a more economic and sustainable use of electricity in the building. Paintwork will be fixed following the work.
Bringing all the electrics to the most modern standards, we’ll ensure energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The electrics are dated and therefore limit the types of activity they can organise in the space.
The hall currently does not have any heating, this prevents users coming to the building in the colder months. If they were able to fit modern heaters for the hall it would mean that they would be able to hold events, groups and activities in comfort all through the winter. It would be a massive benefit to the community as we could expand our offering, we are currently exploring things like regular film nights which would ease social isolation in the dark winter months.
