The Upper Room Community Development Project

The Project addresses a gap in local community provision, by providing a newly refurbished, multi purpose building with modern accommodation for a wide range of local people. The new lift and toilets will enable full access for people with disabilities.

By installing a new modern kitchen, with Entrust support, we will be able to provide refreshments for all user groups and once again offer local elderly people regular nutritious meals. Other beneficiaries will include local schools, parent and toddlers groups, mental health support groups, unemployed people, pre and after school groups and marriage support courses. Completion of the whole project will enable us to offer a much needed community facility and be self financing.
