The Village Centre, Englefield Green Refurbishment Project

The project seeks finding to turn a Grade 2 listed building currently a church into a church and community centre, offering a drop in centre and resources. (debt counselling, pregnancy advice, domestic violence etc) as well as rooms to be hired with emphasis on groups offering support.

This project specifically is seeking funding to install and eqip a kitchen and replace the windows.

Englefield Green is a village of great social need and there are currently no meeting places apart from the local pubs.

There is strong community support for this project. Phase 1 of the project has begun, this project with form phase 2.
