The Well Church, Sheffield – Church Community Hall Redevelopment (006278)

The project is to turn what is largely a wasted space into a high quality, versatile community space that can be used to bring people together. The applicants have had to turn away people wishing to hire the hall because of the noise problems,being able to make the space available for use would not only benefit the community and those groups in need of spaces to hire, but would also help generate income to enable the church to continue work with the community.

The aim is to have a warm, quiet, comfortable and welcoming space that can be used by the community. With a capacity of 100-140 people, breakout rooms, a toilet and kitchenette, storage for chairs and furniture, and electrics for screens, laptops and AV equipment, the space will be versatile and appropriate for a range of activities from conferences, classes, meetings and community activities.
