The Yorkshire Dales Geo Dales Project

This project, which covers the Winskill Stones, Victoria Cave and Langcliffe / Attermire Scars area near Settle in the Yorkshire Dales, provides a significant opportunity to conduct urgent conservation work while celebrating the remarkable story of the area. Project works will include developing a new trail starting in Settle passing through Stanforth Village, along the River Ribble and through Winskill Stones Reserve and Langcliffe Scar LNR with geographical / archaeological text and images created, an interpretative leaflet and audio phone app, an exhibition to mark the 175th anniversary of the Victoria Cave rediscovery and conservation and research works at Victoria Cave and the Winskill Stones.
