Theale Village Hall – Refurbishment, general upgrade and energy efficiency improvement

The project has three main elements to it:1) To remove the existing original lath and plaster ceiling, insulate the roof from below, re-board and re-plaster the ceiling, improving the energy efficiency of the building while maintaining its Victorian character and proportions. 2) To completely refurbish the present toilet facilities. 3) To decorate the hall throughout in colours appropriate to the halls historical character. The overall objective is to generally upgrade the hall to the current expectations of a community facility of this sort and ensure its continued use and support for the future.
