Thomas Helwys Baptist Church, Lenton - Access Ramp (40052/D)

The project aim is to create a safer and more accessible entrance to the church building. The existing ramp is rough and steep and will be removed. A level path, 1.5 metres wide, will be built from the church doors to the adjacent public footpath with drainage installed to a Soakaway. Two concrete bollards will be installed. Remaining car park to be resurfaced to 1:20 gradient. Consultation has highlighted the need for improvement to the two main emergency exits from the building to enable safer and more efficient exit from the building for all users. The Trust grant will contribute towards the access ramp.
