Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club Regeneration Programme, Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club, Bristol

The project is to upgrade four tennis courts and their surrounds at Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club to provide a safe and attractive amenity for the community to use. The club’s courts and surrounds have deteriorated over the past 12 years and are in urgent need of a programme of work to restore: (1) the playing surfaces on four tennis courts; (2) the replacement of the surrounding fences and netting; and (3) upgrading of floodlights to a more environmentally friendly system.
