Thornton Dale Cricket Club Bowling Machine & Nets

A thriving cricket club with a strong junior section providing a structured route for local youngsters to develop within the club. Junior training takes place with qualified coaches, including fund cricket for the less sporty. Batting practice is problematic when youngsters are unable to bowl to each other consistently. Through the purchase of a bowling machine, together with nets, this project will enable delivery of consistent bowling to allow targeted coaching with the additional benefit of providing catching and fielding coaching opportunties.
