Thornton Pocket Park Enhancement

The park is a small public area and play area in Pelton. Funding is to be used to repair both gates and provide seating and a picnic area which has been much requested since the new equipment was installed. The grant will provide a noticeboard for each entrance to the park detailing important contact details for the local residents in the event of a non-emergency. The pocket park has had a logo designed by a local child so this noticeboard will be able to proudly show their unique artwork strengthening the community responsibility for their local play park.
