Thorpe Wood: Urban Oasis

This project will improve access and interpretation at Thorpe Wood nature reserve, and actively involve the community in the site. We will resurface a circular track and install information signs, following survey work to ensure no damage to the plants and invertebrates of the site occurs. We will produce a free leaflet and webpage and hold an open day. We will purchase some display materials for this. Habitat improvements will be done, including, tree safety and the removal of some invasive species. We will check planning applications to ensure the wood is not damaged by nearby development
