Thorverton Millennium Green – Replacement Mower

The Trustees have used the founding Chair’s mowing machine ever since the Green was created in 2000, simply paying for maintenance and repairs. Since her recent death her daughter has moved to Hampshire and advised that she needs it at her home after this Summer’s mowing season.
The purchase of a new and more efficient mowing machine is now urgently required.
If the Charity cannot secure funding it will have to use all its accumulated cash reserves which the Trustees regard as a necessary ‘ contingency’ against natural disasters, such as extreme flooding, requiring civil engineering works, which couldn’t be sourced from the local volunteers/community.
