Thrive Battersea Garden Project

Thrive currently operates 2 gardens within the Battersea Park. Through this project, Thrive plans to redevelop its facilities which have become dilapidated and no longer sufficient to operate on a sustainable basis. The project will demonstrate best practice and will reach over 220 disabled clients from the local community. The redevelopment will comprise demolition and redevelopment of built facilities at the Main Garden to modernize and enhance existing facilities, refurbishment of a building adjacent to the Herb Garden (to be leased from LB Wandsworth), to provide indoor training and work facilities, kitchen and hygiene facilities for this garden; and erection of a Victorian style greenhouse + cold frames in the Herb Garden to provide work and training areas.
