Thurrock Christian Fellowship, Essex – Garden Project (006141)

The project is to take a disused concreted and dilapidated garage area and develop this into a quiet community garden and open space for the attendees of the Thurrock Christian Fellowship Church, their PreSchool and for the wider use of the local community.

The area currently is a complete eyesore and in the past has suffering from antisocial behaviour and criminal damage, this project will breathe life and purpose into this derelict area that can be used by many people across the local spectrum.

At present the Church has no open garden space other than a small hard surface outdoor area and this is primarily used for exercise and activities.

The garden will consist of a central outdoor learning seating area, gardens, pathways, dedicated growing and planting areas. The planned project will allow for an open natural feel with areas for planting, climbing and exploring.
