Timber Sluice at Upton Warren Wetland Reserve

To install an adjustable timber sluice to help control the outflow and water levels at The Flashes Pools - an inland salt marsh at Upton Warren Wetland Reserve. The timber sluice will allow us to adjust and maintain the water levels throughout the year, in order to provide sufficient feeding areas and to keep the islands that are used by nesting birds.
