Time To Bloom, Friends of Lyme & Wood, St Helens

The applicant wishes to unlock the potential of Lyme and Wood Country Park as an environmental and nature resource for the local community. Plans include: increasing flower and seed rich habitats; improve environmental stewardship of the landscape; installation of footpath markers and wildlife trail; additional signage, information boards and seating, leading to a new viewing station; construction of essential path reinforcements; construction of a hibernacula for newts, frogs and invertebrates; and installation of a bee and beetle bank for educational purposes to bring local people closer to nature.
