Installation of a glass porch and restore and repaint the wooden door.

The last part of the proposed improvements is to rectify the issues caused by a large solid wooden door into the building, which is old, heavy, and very draughty. The door, when opened, causes the temperature to drop internally. Users complain that it is cold, and that the door is difficult to open; it cannot be operated by members that have mobility issues. This project will allow the applicant to install a new glass front to the stone porch, which will allow the main doors to remain open when the building is open. Funding will also allow the existing door to be repainted.

The site offers a large open and adaptable space with updated toilet facilities and a kitchen, and a smaller room. Organisation works with the most vulnerable, and regular weekly user groups include exercise, counselling services, individual support, pop up pantry, creative friends, gamblers anonymous and a youth group.
