To Provide a Non-turf Playing Surface for Junior Matches and Practice Sessions

The project is to create a non- turf wicket that is suitable for Junior matches and practice sessions. The strip will enable matches to take place on it ensuring consistent and true bounce. This will help develop the players and encourage them to be adventurous in their play. At the moment the Club has no suitable Junior practice facilities and this has led to a drop in what the Coaches can deliver on a practice night.
