Toilet Refurbishment

Loughton Methodist Church (LMC) was constructed in 1985. The building offers a worship area, welcome area, a public cafe, church hall, an upstairs room and a tower room. Both the church and church hall are used for worship and by regular wider groups including ballet, yoga, dance, speech development, maths tuition, martial arts and drug and alcohol related support. The church toilets have been well maintained but are used very heavily by the congregation, hall users and members of the public visiting the cafe which is open daily. The toilets are 35 years old and are in need of replacement. Users of the ladies’ toilets report a smell in the facilities when the toilets are flushed. Biffa Award has been approached to fully fund the replacement of toilets in the church.
