Tombs and Memorials Conservation Project , St James’s Church, West Littleton, Wiltshire

Grade II listed St James’s Church has a fine collection of four 18C and 19C wall memorials in the nave and nine listed chest tombs in the churchyard. These have been deteriorating over a number of years. The project proposer’s planned conservation programme will use recognised and approved conservation techniques to ensure that this important collection is preserved for the future and made safely accessible to the local community and the many visitors who pass through the churchyard.
