Tony Tack Memorial Skate Park, Hailsham (1703/D)

The project will plan, develop and construct a purpose built bespoke much needed recreational and social facility for young people. Currently there is no skate provision in or around Hailsham. The skate park will provide opportunities to practice skate and bike skills and a place where young people can ‘hang out’ and call their own. Being able to skate in a safe, dedicated place will mean that skaters and bikers will no longer have to practice in an inappropriate or potentially dangerous place, they will be able to use a safe yet challenging facility, specifically designed to meet their needs. The Trust grant will contribute towards the skate park construction.
