Totem Poles

The overall project is to produce a storyboard, via the totem poles, to describe the history of Glenrothes that is 60 this year.
We will be working with groups of disadvantaged young people and many other community groups.
The focus will be on the work undertaken by the participants who will work with Kenny Grieve, a nationally recognised Fife based, wood sculptor who uses traditional methods and whose first hand experience of the traditions and methodology of native North American Indians with design, carve and install a series of Totem Poles as a permanent feature in the town.
