Townclose Hills (Billy Wood) Interpretation Panels

Townclose Hills, known locally as Billy Wood, is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) which is open to the public at all times.

Unfortunately, the site is being used for anti-social activities that threaten the nature conservation value of the site.

The project involves the creation and installation of 3 interpretation panels that will not only inform visitors about the wildlife of the site but will also outline which activities may damage the site and are therefore prohibited. Two additional panels will also be produced for installation should the originals be damaged or vandalised.
