Townhead Church Building Restoration

To conserve and enhance Townhead Church, a beautiful, Category B listed, building in Dumfries’ Medieval Town Outstanding Conservation Area, built by James Barbour in 1867. The building is currently used as a school dining room and is in desperate need of investment and the restoration will create a community cafe, capable of attracting local people and tourists, particularly those with complex needs, from within and outwith Dumfries and Galloway.
