Traad Point Nature Reserve, Invasive Species Control

To undertake control of schedule 9 invasive plant species at Traad Point Nature Reserve.
Invasive species such as Giant Hogweed, Himalayan Balsam and Japanese Knotweed are preventing the growth of native species plants and damaging habitat for native wildlife.
Controlling and eliminating these invasive species will enable native plant species to re assert themselves thus improving habitat for native wildlife and generally improving bio diversity.
