Track Lighting

Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club (WFCRC) will use the award to install a lighting scheme around the closed road cycle circuit at Stourport Sports Club. The lighting is required to increase the track usage throughout the winter months. The improvement of this facility will allow existing members of Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club to train throughout September to March and will lead to an increase in membership and the amount of sessions offered. This project also creates access and builds capacity for all community users and generates the potential for the extension of the competitive racing season.
