Tractor Upgrade

Club volunteers maintain the pitch and surrounding areas of the park which benefits the wider community. During the past few years the area of grass which is cut by volunteers has increased. They started with a pitch, expanding to spectator areas and then to training areas. They now wish to increase the cut to allow for the creation of a further sports pitch and increased managed recreational grassland for residents. The current mower is becoming unsuitable for the task and has been breaking down. In addition, the existing machine is not suitable nor compatible with the required attachment for the type of cut and finish required for recreation areas. It is more suited to lawns and pitches. The Club will purchase a lightly used second-hand machine and flail.
