Trafford Athletic Stadium, Manchester – Floodlighting Replacement

The project will upgrade the floodlighting at Trafford Athletic Stadium, the home of Trafford Athletic Club. The stadium is the most used athletics track in the country and is used every evening Monday to Friday. Different athletic activities take place in different parts of the stadium but all require floodlighting. The current floodlights were installed in 2005 but over the last few years the lamps have become increasingly unreliable with consistent failure. The project will install new energy efficient LED lighting, allowing activities to take place in the evenings and throughout the winter months.
