Training and coaching Net Facility

Project summary:
To provide a cricket net facility for 8-15 year old boys and girls. To encourage the participation of sport by young people in the local community.

Projects outline activities:
Training and coaching by qualified coaches in a safe and controlled environment, at the same time making sport fun, with the aim of creating accessible sport for the local community.

Project benefits:
It will create the only junior net facility in the community, providing access for all young people to experience sport safely.

Project sustainability:
We have, and will in the future develop working partnerships with local schools and clubs. The facility has a life expectancy of more than 25 years before any major refurbishment would be required. General maintenance will be carried out by our club volunteers.
