Transforming Newton Park Phase 2 – Newton with Scales

Newton Community park covers and area of 1.5 hectares . Phase 1 of the scheme replace ageing play equipment and created a MUGA from the former tennis courts and refurbished the Millennium Sensory Garden. CCTV has been installed the field drainage improved and community orchard planted.

Phase two of the scheme will create a trim trail along the parks perimeter path, creation of a fenced dog exercise area, enhancing the landscaping around the wildlife pond and improving the signage. These enhancements will make the park more accessible for all to enjoy.
