Transforming the Spinney Community Play Area - Wisbech

The Spinney play area in Wisbech is a vital community space currently undergoing a major transformation, with a new fully funded youth hub being built and due for completion in January 2026. Alongside this development will
be the replacement of some pieces of broken and unsafe play equipment to ensure the play area remains safe, accessible, and welcoming for local families.

This project will provide new items of equipment: an Inclusive Orbit (with a seat station and two wheelchair/standing stations), a Timber Cradle Swing, and Blue Bonded Rubber Mulch safety surfacing. Together, these items will
significantly improve inclusive play opportunities for children of all ages and abilities, particularly supporting those with additional needs.
