Transition lighthouse Connecting to Green Spaces Project in Littlemore/Blackbird Leys

Transition Lighthouse Empowerment Space CIC support adult vulnerable migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and local residents in their healing and recovery from lived traumatic experiences. Our work began in 2017 through the women’s group WowSpace, and we were registered with Companies House in 2020.
We recognise that nature plays an important role in people’s wellbeing, and we want to increase the amount of time we spend in the wellbeing garden, supporting participants to connect with nature as part of their recovery. This grant is to provide planters where the visitors can grow food and learn about nature.
