Tredegarville School House

To renovate the currently unused school care takers house on the site of Tredegarville Primary school to enable it to be used as a multi-use community space with a large training kitchen and flexible training/community rooms. The regeneration will follow a strong green agenda to ensure the resultant building will be as sustainable as practically possible.
The resultant adaptable space will be available for use not only by the three local primary schools but also a wealth of diverse local community groups.

The building will act as a demonstrator of good practice for sustainable improvements on a local scale and show local residents practical ways of reducing their own domestic carbon foot prints.

The kitchen space will be used as a way of promoting healthy eating through classes and demonstrations as well as a forum for sharing cultures through food. Adamsdown where the school house is based is a hugely diverse area.
