Trenance Valley Teenage Play Space

The scheme has been developed over the past six months with pupils from Trevaglis Community College. The workshops investigated activities the children would want to undertake in the play space and how the layouts would work spatially. The scheme includes proprietary play equipment, including a climbing boulder. However, ground modelling and landscaping have been used to create opportunities for informal play such as parkour (free running), street skating, a street art wall and hang out spaces. The scheme has been made available on the internet for the wider community to identify as their favourite in an on line vote.
